California Fault Line Worse Than Suspected

The odds of the earth moving beneath the feet of Southern Californians just got a lot higher. According to a newly published study, a fault line that stretches along that coast could produce earthquakes far more severe than previously suspected. The research centered on what has long been considered two distinct geological features: the Newport-Inglewood Fault… Continue reading California Fault Line Worse Than Suspected

Bringing Civics and/or Maintaining Civics Curriculum In Schools

The Importance of Civics In The School Curriculum

Hello Readers,

Politics and Government Activity are the focus today of many Americans and foreigners.  Never in American History have the knowledge of how the government work could be of momentous importance. Lets explore Civics.  Civic is all about your rights and how the government works. It is Democracy.

I remember having Civics in school when I was in junior high and found it interesting.

Today, many of have forgotten how the government works and how democracy works for all of us.

Why I’ m writing this article is because of the  recent  presidential  election, from which I have written some articles on, but, as I thought more and more about our democracy  being compromised.  We all should review the constitution, just as you would your will, and find out what is in it and how it relates to your rights and your life in general.

If your children don’t have civics in school,  demand that they include it. Just like the 3 R’s, civics can be just as important!  In order to know what your vote mean in the political system, it is important to know just what each section of our government do.

So education, education, education on the ways of the government!

It is never too late to learn something every day.

I will be leaving links http://constitutionus.com/  for you to explore more and to read and revisit the constitution and all related documents. terminology listing will also be listed in the the very near future just so to understand more what the words mean.

Thank you for visiting this site and I am looking forward to hearing your comments.

Get to learn more about your constitution and share your knowledge with others.  Have Civic discussions with your family and children especially.

If reading on line is too much, nothing should stop short of purchasing a copy of the Constiution.

Long Live Civics!  Again, here is the link. http://constitutionus.com/T

DONALD TRUMPS PRESIDENTIAL CONFLICTS OF INTEREST

ZIPNON / Pixabay

HELLO READERS,

Surely you know of  the 2016 presidential  election  outcome.  The campaign TDonald Trump  lead was one of the ugliest and mean-spirited that Americans have ever witnessed.

Most of the people I have spoken to on the campaign trail really didn’t get it. Voting is very important!  However, it look like electoral college really made the choice of who was going to be president.  If the electoral college stay in place,  then really, what other choices do we have in America to make sure our voices count.  We don’t need the majority vote.

Here is a link from the Mother Jones website on their collection of conflicts of interest of  President Elect, Donald Trump.

Let your voices be heard, protect  your rights and the rights of the American people.  Democracy must be protected for all American and all people should be treated with respect and dignity.

Tampered 2016 Election, Out With The Electoral College Vote!NOW!

wynpnt / Pixabay

THE MAJORITY VOTE SHOULD BE THE VOTE FOR THE HILARY CLINTON PRESIDENCY!

TAMPERING OF THE ELECTION SHOULD BRING RISE TO MAJOR CONCERNS FOR  DEMOCRACY!

We all know that this Presidential campaign was a nasty one! Mostly from Donald Trump.
Being there was so much interference that affected the election-from the FBI to the Hilary Clinton emails, not including name-calling to another Presidential Candidate, and manipulations and traps, we should go for the Majority vote from which Hilary Clinton won! That means to disqualify the Electoral College vote and Immediately! Many other people I know also agree with how I feel.
With all the problems we have as a country, we don’t need to be destabilized to the point of no return. Our country is too fragile after coming into  an almost depression when President Obama took office.
America stands for a better presentation than what we got this year. It should not be a set condition from which we as Americans should endure ever again.
Wanting the best for America and for all people in the world, has nothing to do with Political Parties, Religion, Race, and social-economic condition.
I am a concern and wish for the best for America. We must all work together to keep our country together and to demand the respect of our politicians.
If you care to comment, please do so. You don’t need to be a sitting duck in the mist of
a firing squad.
If Donald Trump can’t keep his house in order, how will he keep our house in order. (The White House)  It’s the people majority vote that should count at this point!
Now, Who have the power to do that? Now!

Dreams Are A Special Gift

YOUR DREAM, YOUR SPECIAL GIFT

Hello Everyone,

If you are dreaming, know that it is a special gift that is all yours. No one can control the dream, not even you.
If you are dreaming,  I don’t believe it is true sleep, as you are active in the story of the dream.
How often do you dream? And do you try to interpret just what your dream means.
Perhaps it don’t mean anything and is a treat for you to embellish for the rest of the day to ponder on.
The dream I had last night was that of visiting a family in the country where they were celebrating the holiday. There were at least 17 Christmas trees in the house all decorated in a very large living room. I just admired how beautiful they were and how inviting her home was. I met another family just before meeting this family and somehow introduce them to this family. They were happy to have met each other and shared a lot of interest. They were neighbors who only lived not far, but in the city. Meanwhile, in between this, I was in a hospital waiting room and I meet a little person- a bald headed man who was sitting next to me reading a newspaper, that I struck a conversation with. I mentioned what a wonderful time I had at this couple’s home for the holiday. He immediately started crying. I asked why he was crying. He said he knew the family name and they were people  he’s been looking for, for a long time. He started to rejoice and gave me the biggest smile ever! That was the end of the dream. It ended happily at least. There could be lots of question about that dream, but I won’t try to analyze it now. But what stands out is “time-chain”, “city”, “country”, “joy”, “celebration”,
“reunion”, “Union”  “connecting” . (What do you think?) If I get good at this interpretation, I’m taking this show on the road!  (smile)
As a nurse,  interpreting body language is so important (another subject to talk about for sure), but interpreting dreams is another  category all together- more spiritual, I believe.  interpretations are neither right or wrong. It is just what it is, an interpretation of what your opinion or idea is.  A cliffhanger for sure.
Remember, a dream can be your special gift! Embrace it and why not
interpret it from your view point; and why not ask others. What do you think about this dream I had last night. Darn it! It’s a Bugger! (now you have just put yourself in therapy to someone who might help you solve this wonder.) A great opener to start a conversation by the way. Hum. . . . .

Interpreting Your Dreams

INTERPRETING YOUR DREAMS

Have you ever wonder what your dream men How often do you dream?
Experts say that dreams could be what is occurring in your present life that have an impact on how you strongly feel at present.

Interpreting dreams have always been a mystery to me and I’m sure there are many people and books that can help you.

I thought this might be a subject that could interest you as I had the weirdest dream last week that I would love to have someone interpret for me.   It was so unusual and beautiful at the same time, but real!  I will speak more about that dream as I will ask someone in the theological world about that dream!

Have you ever wondered why we dream in the first place. Is dreaming helpful in one’s life or could it just be that mystery that occurs to add excitement to your life.

We, as humans are a mystery as it is and with  complexity of personalities and thoughts.

I have heard of some people having a dream one night and the next night have a continuation of the same dream.
What about the people who have the same dream, over and over again.

Should you ignore your dreams, or should you take the time and  analyze what they mean and learn from it.  Could constant dreaming making you sleep deprived?    Now that could be a health issue.  Do your dreams wake you up in the middle of the night? Are dreams so frequent that you should seek medical?  Chime in to this very interesting subject and learn more about dreams.

I would like to do more research of the dream phenomenon.

Leave your comment about this subject and let’s have fun and talk about DREAMS!
