Coupons To Save Money On Your Pediasure

Pediasure Coupons saving up to 50%

If your child uses Pediasure as part of their diet, you can get coupons to help you save money on this very needy formula or feeding supplement.  Not all children eat enough calories, so providing a formula to their daily diet is necessary.

We all know about the shortage of some baby and children’s formula, but now as the shelves are getting restocked, you can purchase some formula at a discount.

Last week, I was able to pick up 4 six-packs of Pediasure for a family who was getting low at a 50% discount from Target which is running this promotion until the end of July. However, there are other promotions and coupons available.  Google coupons for whatever you are looking for and a bunch of sites will come up.

Here is the link to the site where you can sign up for free and get your Pediasure coupons.

If you were able to get a good deal on purchasing your Pediasure and any other great deal,  please do comment and let us know about this wonderful experience.

On some of these sites, you will find recipes you can make with your Pediasure-cookies, muffins, popsicles, etc.  Share this information with others whenever you can.

A few things to note: Check the expiration dates on all your formulas and foods and store them at the temperature that is noted on the directions of the formula container.  Always look at the formula itself for consistency and smell. Return to the store if you see anything unusual. This is not to scare you, but to put you on guard as the formula is being shipped from different places around the world.

P.S.  If you happen to want to donate to this effort and want to donate, you can send Pediasure or the Coupons to me where I will give Pediasure to families that are shorts on supplies. Pediasure Coupon codes and/or funds to purchase can be sent to Thelma Harcum, 17 Pickwick Lane, Willingboro, N.J.

The good news is that Abbotts is manufacturing again and they send coupons with their distribution as well.

Some of the children I work with don’t eat at all by mouth. I’m thinking of ways to encourage children to eat by mouth along with the feeding programs they are already on-some not working.

Children who have other health factors in their lives, such as not talking, and psychological and behavioral issues need to be handled differently.  If only you can get into their minds. This is up for discussion because of the formula emergency we have experienced.  Please encourage your child to eat and with all the precautions as well.   If a child has not eaten at all, aspiration is a caution no matter where you start and the child and even some adults should not eat or be fed alone.  Any directions from your Child’s feeding team should be shared with all family members and personnel that are involved in the child’s care. (I find that lacking in many cases.) The most important thing is to keep trying. Make it fun, and find out if there is a special favor your child might like.  No matter what you do, follow guidelines from the MD  and feeding team. If you find a way to get your child to eat, write it down and let them -your child’s feeding team- know your progress. Yes, keep a journal on your progress. Be consistent, be creative in the child’s feeding program.   Children identify with other children and will copy from them. School can be important to encourage the child to eat.  They also identify with anyone who understands them and will be more cooperative when you can enter their world. This means you will need to get on their level, in their psychic, and pretty much be them.  A negative reaction should be almost ignored to a point such as when they push you away or throw the food or cup. You start again after a period of time.  A good feeding program appeal to taste, smell, touch, and visual.  Giving praise to a child or anyone for that matter is a big deal. Each accomplishment should be acknowledged and celebrated-claps and words of praise can jump-start the whole program.

I am a fan of sippy cups. Perhaps you as a parent should drink out of one while training your child. Also, try different colors of sippy cups and ask your child which color he or she wants to drink out of today.

Go gradual and document your success!  Observe your child’s response and document what works and what doesn’t work.

Maybe paste a picture of your child on the cup to make it even more special for the child that will truly encourage the child to eat. The “Me” stage of some children’s growth and development is almost forever.  However, everyone loves it when you talk about them.

Looking forward to your comments on this subject and any other subject on this blog.

Have the best day!
