Journaling For Fun and Sanity

JOURNALING For   FUN AND SANITY

Hello  Friends,

Wishing you the best in your everyday journaling.  I have not written lately about this subject but want to talk more about how important journaling can be.  It can give you a piece of mind where each day you can wake up to a plan in your life for the day, week, and even for the year; but, don’t plan too far ahead, unless you want to do Christmas shopping in July.  Now, that’s smart.

It is about writing not only the events of the day but giving you the option to really categorize any part of it you desire.

Life being as busy as it is,  journaling can give you the sense of being organized if only for a bit.  Starting with a blank sheet of paper, you can section off an 8×11 and write in just what subjects you want to write about, such as:   What I want to do today, People to call,  Mail outs-like for birthdays, graduations, thank you cards,  exercise time, etc.

If you are using a notebook, make sure you date and time when you write.  You might find out that you are more of a morning writer of your journal when you are fresh from sleep, or a night writer of your journal when it could be more quieter-especially if you have children.

When categorizing what you want to write about, you can focus just on what you want to get done and be proud of it. Check off what is accomplished and mark in your own code what needs to be done.   While you are at it, you can make your shopping list there in your journal, copy it on a printer and check off what you have bought and what store you are going to.  Making a plan for how you’re going to navigate to place to save on gas, is a special plan that could save you money.  Speaking of saving money, get those coupons out or apps to see where the bargains are.   Download the apps on your phones for special places you like to shop as places like Joann Fabrics ,  AC Moore, and many other stores that will scan and give you the discount.  Money is money,   so always be ready to save that dollar.

Journaling will help people who are starting to be forgetful and that could be any age as we all try to multi-task.  Now,  the other view and helpfulness of journaling are for people who are diagnosed with forms and levels of dementia, Alzheimer’s disease,  ADD and other forms of memory lost-such as in a brain injury.  Some people are just forgetful where journaling can be their friend.

I see all the fancy journal books out there,  but a good notebook is great-even from the dollar store-you might find some notebooks for your journal that will stand the test of times in writing every day.  You can even make your own and by visiting some of the YouTube channels and even Pinterest to get ideas.

Already, I’m sure you are feeling better about your day a

Hello Readers,

How do you plan to make this the best year ever?  Are you ready for a change in your life?

Many people never think about just what they want to do with the rest of their lives, but in the life we live,  it changes whether we like it or not.  We tend to be more reactive instead of proactive.

For an instance, climate change.  Are you prepared for emergencies if they happen to occur?   Do you plan to add time in your life for yourself each day?  Do you

plan to save more money  or to cut down on something?

What have you always wanted to do in life but never had the time or money to do so?

Well,  it’s never too late to do many of the things you’ve always dreamed about.

By making a plan, you can focus on one or two things at a time and execute them into your schedule.  If you think you don’t have time,  just make time. It is your life.

Journaling have always been one of  my practice to keep up with what is important to me.  Keeping notes on what you  have done in your day can alleviate anxiety in your life. Even if you skip a few days, you know that to have started the journaling process, you are on your way to having that relationship with “you” to have some control of your path to change.

So, you can make journaling a part of your routine and pick the best time to do so.

I believe the best time is when you have settled down in the evening or morning if you are a night shift worker and write down your accomplishments and plans for tomorrow.

You will find that you will get more done and move forward to having a joyous life.

Things don’t really stay the same.   Even when you are not where you want to be,  you can be hopeful for a change by doing what it takes to feel more secure in your life.

You can make great changes in your life by doing something that move you forward.

Thinking more positive is  a start to a fuller life as well as deciding what exactly you want out of life.  You “can” make the changes today  for a better tomorrow.
