Things to be Mindful Of—(of recent thoughts and happenings)

1. If you have gotten the flu or even so much as a cold, be mindful to change your toothbrush. Toothbrushes should be changed every 3 months at least. Make sure your children change their toothbrushes so as not to reintroduce organisms to reinfect.
2. If you have been sick with the flu or have more colds that what you usually would have.
You might want to add more vitamin C to your diet. If you are working or living around those who are sick, your immune system might be compromised.
3. Also, throw away your lipsticks if you have been sick with the flu or any oral infection.
4. Lock all medications that could be harmful to young children
5. Lock up all firearms from children and from those that it could be harmful to or be used to harm others. Firearms should be out of sight and use for the purpose of not killing people! (I support the banning of assault weapon and any unjust use of firearms.)
6. If you see danger, report it. We are all advocates for one another and especially for those who are unable to defend themselves.

7.  Be mindful to check your expiration dates on foods, medicines and anything else that you use that have an expiration date.   Reading labels are so very, very important; especially if you have allergies, like,  peanuts and  Penicillin.  Let your doctor know all your allergies as well as anyone else involved in your healthcare and well being.  At social gatherings, it is important that the Activity Planner know if you have specific  food allergy  Many candy labels will tell you if “this candy was make with other candies made with peanuts” .

Your child, if allergic to peanuts, should not eat that candy!  Epi Pens should always be available to anyone who have a problem with an allergy that require one in the event that they have a reaction.
