SAVING MONEY WITH COUPONS AND STORE DISCOUNTS

We all know how expensive it is to survive in today’s world, but we also know how important it is to save and budget our money.
What many of us don’t do is to use those coupons and to apply for the store discount card for the discounts they offer on the many household and personal products you use each day. So before you shop, check online where the discounts are that you need for that day or week. Stocking up on those products can help in many ways. You might want to shop with a friend so you can split the cost. This is a great thing to do with a neighbor when trying to rent an expensive tool for whatever you both need to do. Home Depot and Loews both have a home and garden tool rental department.
What I really love is the money I save from an oil change. Pep Boys offer them as well as other companies. You can download or print the coupon, usually $25.00 off, online for a synthetic oil change. Can you imagine what you can do with $25.00
The shame of them taking away the tax exemption on children’s school supplies is sad, but somehow, we can still look for bargains or buying in bulk in some of the wholesale clubs and splitting the cost with a friend or another parent who has a child in school. Children who is fortunate to get a summer job can pitch in with the cost of school supplies and school clothing.

My neighbor shared with me this site on Facebook,” Buy Nothing”. You just insert your area you live in and join. I don’t know if it give you the privilege of connecting with other area or not, but it’s worth checking out. People have some very nice things to give away. Always pick up in a safe zone such as a store, or designated places your township recommends.
So many people are visiting the Goodwill stores for all kinds of beautiful clothing and all that they sell there at bargain prices. The savings are amazing! Especially when you are looking for an item for one occasion or season. Swim trunks are expensive these days, so when you can pay just 3 or 4 dollars for that item, where store prices maybe $15 to $25, you can save much.
