Hello Friends and Family,

This is just a briefing of the article I wrote yesterday. You will find a link to it below.

Yes, so much is happening and WURD radio, the only black-owned radio station on the east coast started by the honorable, Dr. Lomax, have survived over 20 years, giving the community a voice from which to speak and be heard.

CEO, Sara Lomax and all of her team have done an amazing job of keeping the radio station informative, bringing the best experts ever while being innovative to bring diverse programs to the community.

As they enter an important crossroad, they need your support to keep what the community need and that is an outlet to voice opinions, ideas, and concerns that

affect us all in today’s political and economic drastic changes that affect our lives that is not always in a positive way.  This administration federal cuts and cuts in many other entities, have damaging effects on all of our lives as it has a domino effect on anything connected to it. The people need a place to voice their opinions more than ever, and now, the Station need to have support to keep it all going. Many sacrifices are made at this radio station to make it the most listened to around the world, always giving their best at every angle.

Here is a link to my story, and one of my contributions to WURD. Check the link below. You will find the contact information to contact and support the progressive, informational and community-based radio station. There is no other radio station like them as they put words into action and can’t be bought or persuade against what is good for the people.

We know that is it us that will save us. So, lets sure-up WURD to be there for all of us.  All people of all races and cultures will be affected by all the governmental cuts. Many people will die without the medical insurance and care they need.

Cuts to school lunch programs will leave many children attending school hungry and health risk.  Why we are in this position in the first place, is that people are not making enough money to support their families. The decision to pay for medication or pay for food is a dilemma families face every day.

It Ain’t Over till the Fat Lady Sings

Hello my friends,

Whoever came up with that saying?  Well, a little fat, I am, but the singing is

on the lines of the blues.  Most Blues songs are from heartbreak of some kind or

trying to get back a lost.  If you feel you are lost and feel almost at a standstill because of all the changes that this president is making, you are not alone.

All I know, is that the fight we have on our hands are more than what one person

can do.  No, I’m not happy with how the present administration is trying to overthrow our democracy.  We have come a long way to be a country of opportunity and success, but recently, the country is being set back to another

time. Is this what the people voted for? I didn’t!  Being a nurse, and a human being makes me wonder, why we all can’t have a piece of the pie.  Yes, America have problems with the border control, but the way it’s being done-without due court process-is not the American way. It’s what a dictator will do, and even those dictators, they allow the person to speak.

Spending money for an unnecessary war is not being efficient.  What ever happened to communication?  Man should be smarter than what we see now. Every life is important. When we look back, perhaps we will shake our heads in wonder, why so much destruction.

So stay strong and align yourself with the political leaders, friends, and relatives that think like you and is sing the blues of hope.

Voting is not just an option, it’s a right.  Use your rights to vote. It is your power, and your right.  Call and write your representatives and congressional people and let them know what you want and how you feel.

No it ant’t over yet! Let your song be of love, faith, hope and all about freedom!

If you are overwhelmed by it all, shut it down for a minute, but stay on it.

Write, call, and holler, “Let America Live and be Free”.
