A New Year Starts With A Big Bang

Hello and Happy New Year Everyone!

So much have been happening over the last 2 months and several things have kept me from my blog in my personal life as I struggle to get over a severe rhinitis and a whole ENT package of associated problems.  The rhinitis ascorbate my asthma and don’t even talk about reflux too. Thank God I’m a nurse in that I had to get a handle on the situation and fast!  I did lose some of my hearing temporarily, which didn’t help either. Somehow, I got a great ENT doctor to order the treatment I needed that helped immensely!

Car issues with warranties that ran out, and a big warranties deductible is an on-going investigation. If you have warranties on your car, check them and if you don’t, get some, because it could be a large bill to pay if your motor or transmission go, in which in my case, my transmission had to be rebuilt.

What was sad during these last two months is the Hurricane Melissa that ravaged Jamaica. I don’t believe anyone have seen such destruction. My heart goes out to the people and the country as it is a wonderful vacation destination, so I heard. I am sure with support and time, they will rebuild and the people will get their lives back. I did sent funds to the World Central Kitchen. I’m sure many other people supported Jamaica from all over the world.  Every little and grand help was appreciated to bring hope back to the people. So, far I’ve read on You Tube, that $6 Billion plus was collected for the rebuild.  All will be blessed for their love and care, I’m sure.

The other event is with the ICE employment in various cities and states, we’ve all read in the news. There are so many violations of this government on all levels in that we do have a constitution where the people should be given their rights to due process when accused of a violation-not just shot out of the water like a sitting duck waiting to be slaughtered. It is not a sin to be born who you are or for hoping to live in a safer climate, but now that climate of safety is of the same place the people left. This is not what America stands for and not what most of us want for the future. Money can’t compete with integrity.  Once Justice is not upheld, it’s anybody’s game and no one is safe. Living in the free world means growth, not the money grabs we see today.

Have you notice that this Christmas season, there was less lights from people’s homes? You wonder what people are thinking. I was hoping that it was because people did not think commercialism was the focus, but what is really important to them. It’s not things that make people happy, but it’s knowing that you have a true and caring friend or relative that is there for the long run.

So, I bought some issues up to date. There is much more to be said, but I’m sure you have your opinion about what is going on. What we all must do is to be more active in this political system and voice your views on what you want and don’t want. I do see a shift in the 2 parties in that perhaps, they are seeing the wrong done to our country and is perhaps taking another viewpoint because, it is about the people. It is the people that have made rich people get richer for they know more how to take from the working and poor people until these people fall by the wayside and become hopeless, homeless, and die. That have gotten to be changed. A disgrace it is when there’s no free education-which includes college if a person desires to attend- and free medical care for all.

Yes, we all know we need control the borders, and prevent crime, but the way to do it should be finding out why it is  happening and to give support to those who are fighting against it.

I truly hope for a better year this year, and that the people will speak up to keep the free country we have and to keep Democracy alive. Money can’t buy the will of the people.
