Where Civics and Politics Collide

Civic and Politics

Greetings all!

A lot has happened since I last updated this blog. Weather disasters, mass shootings, out-of-control fires in California, and now the past and some ongoing elections have indeed changed the lives of many and the course of history as we once knew it.
I am hoping all of you are supporting the good efforts of stabilizing our country and I appreciate your efforts.

Now we see why civics is important to know and to exercise your rights in our democracy.
It is a shame that a President is running his campaigns on those that have controversial views of what he thinks democracy is about.

Truly, it is not all about money when people are suffering and are at risk of losing or not affording their health benefits, losing their home through gentrification, and other life-changing
governmental moves that marginalize working and poor people in our country.
There is a lot of work to do more now than ever before.
You can push for Civics to return to schools and to include your children in the election process so that they can learn early that they are a part of the voting process. Also to get them involved in volunteering in the local elections when the opportunity arises.(handing out brochures, flyers, and having political discussions in the family and among their peers.) The children are the future. Civics not being included in all schools curricula is a form of not educating our children on what is the most important process we have called, Democracy. Democracy is where your rights and freedoms are protected. Democracy is what allows you to be a free person to express and live your life in all its fullness.

Each and every one of us can be a part of the political system by voting for who we think are the best people to do the job to support our country to run smoothly, fairly and with integrity for all the people.
Voting is not only your right but your civic duty. Yes, your vote counts!
You can go online and read on the many websites, the Constitution. You can also buy a copy of the constitution for very little money-Between $4.00 or $5.00 dollars.

Bringing Civics and/or Maintaining Civics Curriculum In Schools

the importance of Civics In The School Curriculum

Hello Readers,

Politics and Government Activity are the focus today of many Americans and foreigners.  Never in American History have the knowledge of how government work could be of momentous importance. Let’s explore Civics.  Civic is all about your rights and how the government works. It is Democracy.

I remember having Civics in school when I was in junior high and found it interesting.

Today, many of having forgotten how the government works and how democracy works for all of us.

Why I’m writing this article is because of the recent presidential election, from which I have written some articles, but, as I thought more and more about our democracy being compromised.  We all should review the constitution, just as you would your will, and find out what is in it and how it relates to your rights and your life in general.

If your children don’t have civics in school,  demand that they include it. Just like the 3 R’s, civics can be just as important!  in order to know what your vote means in the political system, it is important to know just what each section of our government does.

So education, education, education on the ways of the government!

It is never too late to learn something every day.

I will be leaving links http://constitutionus.com/  for you to explore more and to read and revisit the constitution and all related documents. terminology listing will also be listed in the very near future just so as to understand more what the words mean.

Thank you for visiting this site and I am looking forward to hearing your comments.

Get to learn more about your constitution and share your knowledge with others.  Have Civic discussions with your family and children especially.

If reading online is too much, nothing should stop short of purchasing a copy of the Constitution.

Long Live Civics!  Again, here is the link. http://constitutionus.com/T
